Solxlanni uses two alphabets. It uses the latin alphabet for digital communication, the latin alphabet it uses is derived from the Welsh alphabet. But for more general writing, solxlanni uses the bardic alphabet. The latin alphabet doesn't really fit Solxlanni too well, so colon is used to represent G which may throw some people off. The bardic alphabet Solxlanni uses is derived from the real bardic alphabet, which is derived from various runic alphabets. Solxlanni has a slighly modified version of the alphabet because it lacked letters for some sounds (like I q j) which are quite import to the language itself. Words are written from left to right and form lines from top to bottom. The Latin alphabet is often used for more formal things so sentances tend to be more coherent and structured. So you'd get sentances like "zi priffenidat Sa'at, Xreites Matso'oa, en dexru pera newikat am Sa'attir"(the first minister of striga, Kyle matso-or, is starting a new era for strigaland) which come off as very formal, but it's following a stricter structure than "priffenidat QreitEs matsooA'pi newiDpera creiatar"(first minister Kyle matso-or makerly-ing new-era). The bardic one though has very similar meaning.

It is very uncommon to see both alphabets used concurrently as they do not work very well together. Although in the table below i've shown them as being equivalents, they don't line up exactly.

In Solxlanni the vowels are a,e,i,o,u,w,y (ora A e E i I o O w W y Y) in the latin script a long vowel is shown by either doubling or by putting a circumflex over the vowel (like â for example), the bardic one has special letters for these long vowels. Every other letter is a consonant. Sometimes you may see wierd combinations of consonants, like "hr", which are used to reprisent X which often appears in words to do with structure and heiarchy.

Both alphabets work relatively well, Solxlanni doesn't have too many sounds.
